- Meeting directly with people or organizations; recruiting new volunteers
- Marketing & Communications
- Writing and pushing out our message, e.g., social media, writing for the website, promotional collateral, letters to the editor
- Events
- Create event ideas, recruiting speakers, scheduling, securing locations, bringing supplies, setup and breakdown of in-person events
- Fundraising
- Networking, pitching, creating ideas for fundraisers
- Data and Research
- Obtaining and analyzing numerical data; finding articles and reports on police abuses, reforms, and oversight and making it useful to the group
- Tech/IT Help
- Managing the website/email system or digital assets, setting up Zoom or Mobilize event pages, providing A/V help at in-person events
